Welcome to my first video for the newsletter! Video interviews are so much more fun than meagre phone calls, though I did get flashbacks to all the mistakes I made recording Zoom interviews on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee during the pandemic. I made nearly all of these again, but luckily, Wajahat turned out to be, if not a tech-wizz, then at least someone who knew to remind me to turn on a light.
As always, our written conversation is free (here), but I’ve whacked this vid behind a paywall. The cost is still low as I want to make it as accessible as possible— It’s £4/$5 a month or £30/$37 for a year. I feel slightly weird about this, but equally, I am working on it all while paying for childcare! I would describe it as capitalism, but hopefully not rampantly so. 🧡
