Soraya and I cover lots more which I couldn’t squeeze into the written version. My favourite part of our conversation was about politics across different generations. She had way more data about whether or not Gen Z are more conservative than their elders, and we also discuss Gen X, who equal parts bore, confuse and fascinate me and who Soraya calls the ‘trough generation’. I also ask for parenting advice (why do I always do this?? It’s genuinely embarrassing) and we discuss what the Democrats are up to now (her take really surprised me!)
