Astute observers will wonder why Sidney and I change clothes partway through this interview, which also seems to cross very different times of day. What happened is that we had to stop filming when my daughter was sick in the middle of our first conversation—honk if you respect working mothers!—and Sidney was kind enough to pick up again a few days later.
